Matthew McCrane kicked three field goals to break the Kansas State record for most field goals in a career. DJ Reed forced two turnovers on defense and the Wildcats held West Virginia scoreless in the second half, but the No. 23 Mountaineers held on for a 28-23 win Saturday. Winston Dimel scored 2 rushing touchdowns for Kansas State in the second quarter, but it was not enough to overcome 3 West Virginia touchdowns. The Wildcats play at Oklahoma State next Saturday.
