The Emporia High boys bowling team put together a strong 3rd game to pick up another first place finish Monday at the Emporia High Invitational.
The Spartans trailed by 124 pins going into the final game. Emporia High would answer the challenge and were 134 pins better then 2nd place Junction City in the 3rd game and won by 10 pins. Satchel Sill led the way with a 658 series to finish in 4th place.
Sill and Braden Schuler both rolled a 257 3rd game. Shuler finished in 5th place with a 617 series. Alex Jimenez finished in 6th place with a 614 series. Marcus Pegel finished in 8th place with a 611 series. Junction City was 2nd, Topeka West 3rd and Salina Sacred Heart 4th.
The Emporia High girls finished in 3rd place. Sierra Sill was the lead bowler for the Lady Spartans finishing in 5th place with a 537 series. Topeka West took first place followed by Junction City in 2nd place.
