Emporia State softball back in first place

The number 5 ranked Emporia State Softball team has taken over first place in the MIAA standings after they won 3 of 4 games played over the weekend.

 

The Lady Hornets Split a doubleheader with Central Oklahoma Friday and swept Northeastern State Saturday. They have a 1 game lead in the loss column over Central Oklahoma. Central also split a doubleheader with Washburn Saturday. Coach Julie LeMaire called it a good weekend.

Emporia State has  6 games left in conference play. They will host Central Missouri on Tuesday.
