Royals out score Yankees

The Kansas City Royals rallied for a 8-4 win over the New York Yankees Saturday.

 

The Royals took a 3-0 lead in the 2nd inning on an Alex Gordon double and singles by Lorenzo Cain and Alcides Escobar. The Yankees tied the game in the top of the 6th. The Royals retook the lead with 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th highlighted by a 3 run homerun hit by Salvador Perez. Nori Aoki also singled in a run. Eric Hosmer would add a solo homerun in the 7th. The Royals and Yankees play again this afternoon in Kansas City.
