Royals drop second game of series to Twins, 10-2.

The Kansas City Royals were beaten by the Minnesota Twins 10-2 Tuesday night.

Royals' starter James Shields struggled to his shortest outing in 18 appearances, going just 5 innings.  He also allowed at least four runs for the third straight game.  Defensive miscues in the third and fourth innings also played a major role in the loss.

The Royals and Twins play the rubber game of their series Wednesday night.  Jason Vargas will take the hill for KC, against Minnesota's Kevin Correia.  First pitch at 1:10, coveragstarts at 1pm  on 14 KVOE.
