Royals take rubber game of series from Twins, 4-0.

Jason Vargas shutout the Twins over seven innings and the Kansas City Royals beat Minnesota 4-0 Wednesday afternoon.

Vargas scattered four hits and two walks while striking out five in seven shutout innings.  Mike Moustakas and Jarrod Dyson each drove in a run to give Vargas an early 2-0 in the top of the second inning.  Raul Ibanez homered in the top of the eighth.  And Eric Hosmer drove in Alcides Escobar in the top of the ninth for extra insurance.
