52 compete in Spring Migration Triathlon Featured

52 competed in the Spring Migration Triathlon Sunday. The Triathlon consisted of a 400 meter swim, 20 K bike ride and a 5 K run.

Kevin Nickel of Newton won the mens pision in 58 minutes 32 seconds. Donna Spoonmore of Hillsboro won the womens pision in 1 hour 30 minutes 41 seconds.

Autumn Howell was the first Emporian to finish taking 5th in the womens competition.

Steve Blocker finished in 14th place in the mens competition.

Margi Grimwood and Ellie Grimwood of Emporia finished in 1st place in the female team competition.

Eclectic Bike of Emporia won the Mixed team competition.
