The FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018 tournament is underway, and Team USA has rolled to wins in their first 2 games.
The U.S. dominated the Dominican Republic, 105-73, in the tournament opener. They went on to rout Panama 118-26 in their second game. Team USA jumped out to a 43-0 first-quarter lead and led by as many as 93 points. Team USA is coached by Kansas head coach Bill Self and is comprised of players under age 18. Incoming University of Kansas freshman Quentin Grimes along with Bishop Miege star and Class of 2019 KU recruiting target Jeremiah Robinson-Earl are on the team. Team USA will next play Puerto Rico Tuesday.
