Emporia State football looking to improve ground game Featured

One of the focuses during training camp for the Emporia State football team has been to be more efficient running the ball.

On day 4 Coach Garin Higgins said they showed signs of progress.

Stephen Williams, 6-7 305, is back for his Junior season.

Estevan Arana, 6-5 292, is also back for his junior year.

The Hornets also return their top 4 leading rushers from last year led by Landon Nault

Kai Callins also returns for his senior season.

The Hornets can add full pads to the practice gear for the first time Friday.
