Kansas City Chiefs advance to AFC Championship game Featured

The Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting the AFC Championship game after defeating the Indianapolis Colts 31-13 Saturday.

Running back Damien Williams rushed for 129 yards and scored the games first touchdown on a 10 yard run.

Tyrek Hill scored on a 36 yard run. Patrick Mahomes added a 4 yard touchdown run and Darrel Williams scored on a 6 yard run. The Chiefs defense held the Colts to 87 rushing yards, 263 yards of total offense and 1 touchdown. Dee Ford finished with 4 tackles, a sack and forced fumble.

Justin Houston added 2 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Chiefs Coach Andy Reid said the defense answered the challenge.

Coach Reid was also proud of the offense.

The Chiefs will host the winner of Sundays game between New England and the Los Angeles Chargers. 

In the NFC The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30-22.
Today in the NFC New Orleans hosts Philadelphia.

Both of Sundays games will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM with coverage beginning at 11:30am.
