Emporian Gentry Scheve wins KJGA Tour stroke play Championship Featured

Emporian Gentry Scheve has won the KJGA Tour stroke play championship held at the Emporia Golf Course.

Scheve followed his first round 64 with a 70 in round two to finish with a 134 to win by 3 strokes.

Tate Herrenbruck of Salina finished in 2nd place with a 137.
Caleb Schmid of Emporia shot a 76 for his second round and finished with a 155 tied for 15th place.
 
In the boys 12 and 13 age group Hudson Sauder of Emporia finished in a tie for 12 place with a 181.
 
The top 16 boys players and top 16 girls players will be playing in match play beginning Wednesday.
Each golfer will play 4 rounds. They will play 2 rounds Wednesday and 2 rounds Thursday.
Gentry Scheve will be playing Caleb Schmid in a first round match.
