High School Football play-offs Regional Round Friday Featured

The Regional round of the High School football play-offs take place Friday night.

Emporia High will be on the road playing at Maize.
Coach Corby Milleson sees 3 keys to winning the game.

Senior Beau Baumgardner says a good start will be key.

Senior John Miller says the 1st quarter will set the tone.

The Spartans are 6-3, Maize is 8-1.
Kick-off from Maize High School is set for 7pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.

5 Area schools also play Friday night:
In 8-Man Division I:
Madison hosts Maranatha Academy. Its a rematch of a week 4 showdown that saw Madison out score Maranatha 68-58. Madison Coach Alex McMillian is expecting another close hard fought game.

Kick-off in Madison is set for 7pm. That game will be broadcast on Country 101.7FM.

Lebo at Canton Galva.

In 8-Man Division II:
Waverly at St. Paul.

In 1A:
Olpe hosts Uniontown.
Northern Heights at Centralia.
