Emporia 19s lose to Scrappers. 17s to host Ottawa Featured

The Emporia Senior baseball team was out scored by the Topeka Scrappers 9-3 in a 9 inning game Tuesday night.

The Scrappers scored 4 runs in the 5th inning to build a lead the 19s could not overcome.
Hayden Baumwart, Cade Kohlmeier and Camden Kirmer each drove in a run for the seniors.
They are now 9-5 for the season and are scheduled to host Garnett in a doubleheader Thursday.
 
The Emporia Juniors will be hosting Ottawa in a doubleheader Wednesday night at Sodens Grove. First pitch is set for 6pm.
