Emporia Junior baseball team swept by Kansas Outlaws Featured

The Emporia Junior baseball team was swept by the Kansas Outlaws in a doubleheader Sunday.

The Outlaws won the first game 6-4 in 8 innings.
The 17s had tied the game at 4 with 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th. The Outlaws answered with 2 runs in the top of the 8th.
The Outlaws won the 2nd game 11-3 in 5 innings.
The Emporia Juniors are now 8-7 for the season. They are scheduled to host the Salina Eagles Tuesday in a doubleheader.
