Both Kansas and Kansas State released their updated 2020-21 mens basketball schedules Monday.

Kansas men’s basketball schedule includes the Big 12 Conference round-robin details. KU will have additional non-conference games. Included will be a Champions Classic matchup against Kentucky at a site to be determined on December 1st.
They will also host North Dakota State, Creighton, Omaha and Tarleton State.

Kansas State also released their updated mens basketball schedule. The Schedule includes 17 home games including the inaugural Little Apple Classic. The Wildcats will play Drake and Colorado November 25th and 27th. They will also host UMKC, UNLV and Milwaukee.

ESPN is casting aside initial plans to host eight of its nonconference men’s college basketball events at a bubble site in Orlando, Florida. The events are now canceled for this season and will resume in 2021-22.
ESPN was trying to move eight of the 10 men’s events it hosts to ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando, where the NBA recently completed its 100-day bubble.

The events consisted of the Champions Classic, Charleston Classic, Myrtle Beach Invitational, NIT Season Tip-Off, Wooden Legacy, Orlando Invitational, Jimmy V Classic and Diamond Head Classic.

There is hope the Champions Classic and Jimmy V Classic will be played in 2020, only from a different location.

The Champions Classic features Kansas vs. Kentucky and Michigan State vs. Duke.
The Jimmy V Classic was scheduled for Baylor vs. Illinois and Gonzaga vs. Tennessee.
