
In the girl’s game, Olpe managed to stave off an early flurry by the Lady Wolves to pick up a 49-25 victory.
The first quarter would see five lead changes before Olpe managed to come out on top taking a 15-10 lead into the second quarter. A 13-2 run in the second gave Olpe a commanding lead they would never relinquish.
In the second half, Olpe held Lebo to just thirteen points as they surged to their 12th straight win on the year. Olpe was led in scoring by seniors Maya Bishop with 11 points and Hattie Fisher with 10.

Lebo freshman Audrey Peek led all scorers with 15 points.
Olpe now improves to 12-0 as Lebo falls to 7-3.
In the boy’s game, Olpe overcame an early deficit to down the Lebo Wolves 41-28.
Lebo opened the scoring early in the first with a 6-0 run before Olpe would turn the tables and outscore the Wolves 11-1 run late would give Olpe a lead they’d never give up. Olpe would stretch the lead to as many as 12 in the second quarter and managed to take a 23-13 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, Lebo would come as close as six points to tie the game, but could never overcome the deficit as the Eagles would stretch the lead back out to double digits in the fourth keeping their unbeaten streak alive. Olpe had two players end the night in double figures and were led by senior Jordan Barnard with 15. Junior Derek Hoelting added 12.

Sophomore Austin Bailey led Lebo with seven points.
With the win Olpe improves to 7-0 on the season and clinches the Lyon County League regular-season championship. With the loss Lebo now falls to 8-2.
