The Emporia High boys golf team plays in their first tournament of the season Thursday.
They will be playing in the Washburn Rural Invitational at Wamego.
Coach Rick Eckert says this will be a good test for the team.
Junior Brooks Sauder, who was a state placer in 2019, will be one of the golfers playing for Emporia High.
Also playing for Emporia High will be, Seniors Skyler Stewart, Gavin Hoelting, and Dylan Smith. Sophomore Cayden Massey and Freshman Alex Allemang.
