Kansas States run in the NCAA mens basketball tournament came to an end Saturday, Loyola Chicago out scored Kansas State 78-62 in the South regional Final.
Cold shooting finaly caught up with Kansas State. The Wildcats shot only 38 percent from the floor. Loyola connected on 57 percent of their shots.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber called it a disappointing loss.
Xavier Sneed again led Kansas State in scoring with 16 points.
Barry Brown added 14 points.
Kamau Stokes finished with 13 points. Kansas State finishes their season with a record of 25-12.
Michigan won the West regional championship game, out scoring Florida State 58-54.
