(Sportsnetwork.com) Frank Mason III scored 16 points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds to help No. 9 Kansas beat 24th-ranked Oklahoma State 67-57 on Tuesday.

(WSU) Wichita State ended No. 5 Cincinnati's nation-best 39-game home court winning streak and notched its first true road win over an AP Top-5 opponent in 54 years with a 76-72 victory Sunday afternoon. Landry Shamet led the Shockers with a game-high 19 points, Shaquille Morris 13 points and Austin Reaves 12 joined him in double-figures. The Shockers host Tulane Tuesday night. 

(WSU) Five players scored in double-figures to help No. 13 Wichita State hang on to defeat Tulane, 93-86, Wednesday night. Shaquille Morris tallied his sixth 20-point game of the season with a game-high 25 points.  Conner Frankamp tied a career high with 18 points.

 

(WSU) Markis McDuffie matched his career-high with 26 points and Shaquille Morris added 21 to help Wichita State defeat SMU 84-78 Saturday afternoon. The Shockers extended their winning streak to six games. They can grab a share of the American conference regular season title by winning their last two games, Thursday at Central Florida and next Sunday at home against Cincinnati.

Two Lady Hornets have been named to the All-MIAA team. Tyra Jones is a 3rd team selection. Jessica Wayne has been named to the All-defensive team. 

Two members of the Emporia State mens basketball team have been named to the All MIAA team. Brandon Hall and Stephaun Limuel are honorable mentions.

TCU used a late 9-0 run to outlast Kansas State 66-59 Tuesday night. The loss spoiled an impressive night by juniors Dean Wade and Barry Brown, Jr.. Wade lead all scorers with 24 points, while Brown added 17 points. The Wildcats close out the regular season Saturday when they host Baylor.

The basketball sub-state pairings have been released for 2A. 1A and 3A.

 

Highland Park spoiled Senior Night for the Emporia High Spartan and Lady Spartan basketball teams Friday night.

The Emporia High basketball teams are on the road Friday night with games at Topeka Hayden.
