The Wildcats were led by Barry Brown with 28 points. Dean Wade added 15points and Xavier Sneed finished with 12 points. Kansas States biggest lead was by 2 points. They would trail by 15 in the 2nd half. The Wildcats play at TCU Tuesday night.

The Emporia State women needed a win to keep their hopes of advancing to Kansas City for the MIAA tournament alive. They held the lead early in the 1st quarter but a 8-0 run by the Northeastern State gave them a lead they would not give up on the way to a 75-67 win over the Lady Hornets.

The Jayhawks are tied for first place with Texas Tech after their win over West Virginia Saturday. Tip-off is set for 8pm. They will also be retiring Sherron Collins Jersey at halftime.
