Bonds, bids and lease agreements are all up for consideration by Emporia City Commissioners Wednesday afternoon.
During their upcoming action session, commissioners will consider approving the issuance of taxable industrial revenue bonds in the amount of $14 million for the purchase, acquisition, construction and equipping of a commercial food processing facility. Commissioners will also consider approving a supplemental services agreement with BG Consultants for work on city sewer lift station #2.
The authorization and execution of a first supplemental lease agreement between the city and Overlander Street and bid for a sanitary sewer improvement project on Americus Road will also see consideration.
The meeting begins at 1:30 pm inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
