A man accused in Lyon County District Court of rape and aggravated criminal sodomy had all six counts against him advance to a potential pretrial and arraignment hearing later this month.
Gerald Travis Todd faces two counts of rape and four counts of sodomy. Judge Doug Jones set a pretrial for 2 pm Jan. 26.
Todd is accused of illegal sexual activity with a victim incapable of giving consent. Further details have not been divulged.
Meanwhile, a Lyon County identity theft case has been dismissed.
Judge Doug Jones dismissed the case against James Jones at prosecutor request. Jones dismissed the case without prejudice, meaning prosecutors can re-file the case at a later time. Further details have not been announced.
Jones had been accused of one count of identity theft, but that single count involves over 100 alleged victims after suspected activity in early November. Co-defendant Jordan Phillips had his case dismissed without prejudice last month.
