Every toe was tapping as the Glenn Miller Orchestra took the Granada stage on Friday night.
The band kicked things off with an exciting, fast-paced tune entitled “Runnin’ Wild,” originally composed in 1922.
The band was originally formed in 1938 and continues to play classic songs and sounds from the swing era, attributing their performances to composer Glenn Miller.
Not only were there instrumental classics at the concert but the Glenn Miller-composed “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” featured a stunning vocal group.
As the orchestra leaves the stage, however, the Granada has other exciting events planned. The Dueling Pianos are set for Feb. 18th, and Hip2BHuey & Mystify for March. 25th.
