A trio of requests from a trio of county departments are set to come before Lyon County Commissioners Thursday morning.
Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods will present a request from the city of Americus to close Road 240 (Locust Street) from Main Street East to Fifth Street from 6 pm Friday, Apr. 7 through 10 pm Saturday, Apr. 8 for the 2023 Flint Hills Gravel Ride. Lyon County Clerk Tammy Vopat will present an invoice in the amount of $7,100 from the Kansas Secretary of State for the 2023 ELVIS annual cost.
Lyon County Appraiser Ryan Janzen will also seek approval to attend the 2023 GIS/Valuation Technologies Conference in Las Vegas for an amount not to exceed $800. Five executive sessions, four for non-elected personnel matters and one for legal matters, are also on the agenda.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
