Music made together to benefit a great cause.
Emporia State University’s music department and Habitat for Humanity will present a benefit concert in an effort of supporting the organization and its cause.
Various ensembles from the music department will be present, such as the ESU chorale, chamber singers, and chamber orchestra. ESU’s Director of choral activities Josh Donaldson says the songs performed are not something to miss.
Not only do benefit concerts provide support for their intended organization, but also help to bring a sense of community to everybody involved explains Donaldson.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m at the First United Methodist Church. The suggested donation fee is $10.
