A fundraiser has been announced as an Emporia man recovers from a UTV crash earlier this month.
A biscuits and gravy breakfast has been scheduled for June 3 at the Lyon County Fairgrounds Anderson Building. Suggested donation is $10 a plate. All donations will go to the Hunter McCoy Medical Fund at ESB Financial.
McCoy, 20, suffered serious injuries after he was ejected from a UTV in the 1400 block of Road M early May 6. McCoy suffered critical head trauma and an aortic aneurysm in the crash. He is currently awaiting a transfer from a trauma unit to a specialized rehab facility in Lincoln, Nebraska.
