New Emporia High softball coach Tommy McClure got a chance to meet his future team Tuesday afternoon at Emporia High School.
McClure said he really liked the turnout that came out for the meet and greet.
Current team members also got to meet a future teammate. McClure’s youngest daughter, Maedeen, will be a senior at Emporia High this fall. Maedeen said she was excited to get a chance to meet her future teammates.
McClure comes to Emporia after five seasons as the head coach at Liberal. McClure takes over for Annie Rockley, who spent one season as head coach.
