Lyon County Commissioners have their weekly action meeting Thursday morning.
Among the items for consideration will be a pair of requests from Lyon County Emergency Communications Center Director Roxanne Van Gundy the first seeking approval of a $2,730 to Clifford Power for generator maintenance on three radio tower sites paid for through 911 funds. Van Gundy will also seek approval for herself and LCECC supervisors to attend the NENA National Conference in Orlando, Florida from June 28 through July 3.
Lyon County Facilities Director Robbie Weiss will submit a quote from Schumann Electric for a breaker replacement project totaling $30,185.95 and County Clerk Tammy Vopat will seek approval of the certification for the Presidential Preference Primary Election for reimbursement from the state of Kansas. Separately, Monte Miller and Fred Wingert will provide an update on billboard placement and density.
Two executive sessions are also planned. The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
