A Chase County infrastructure project is set for construction after bid approval by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
AM Cohron and Son, based in Atlantic, Iowa, won the bid for a bridge replacement project less than a mile west of Cedar Point. The project zone — two-tenths of a mile long — was bid out at almost $1.75 million.
The construction timeline has not been announced.
