The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas and Emporia Enterprises will both convene with similar agendas this week and next.
The RDA Board meeting will be first on the schedule with the main items of business being an update on the RDA President search and a review of the interim RDA President’s transition process. Jim Witt has been leading the RDA in an interim capacity since the start of the year.
Board members will also establish the organization’s annual meeting date and receive the monthly RDA President report which will include a look at the 2025 budget and site selection. One executive session is also planned.
The meeting will begin at 7 am inside of the Trusler Business Center Friday.
The Emporia Enterprises Board will then convene Monday, also at the Trusler Business Center, with the main items of business being an update on the RDA President search and a review of the 2025 meeting agenda. That meeting will begin at 12:30 pm.
