Coffey County prosecutors have amended their criminal complaint against a man accused of rape and other illegal sexual activity involving teenagers and adults, but the changes are minor.
When 76-year-old Leon Lile was arrested in January, prosecutors charged him with three counts of rape, two of aggravated sexual battery and one of aggravated indecent liberties, reflecting alleged illegal sexual activity with two teenagers and two adults periodically between 2013-2020. Prosecutors revised the complaint Tuesday, but Coffey County Attorney Wade Bowie says the adjusted document keeps the same charges while making minor corrections for the alleged victim information in the case.
Lile has a status conference March 12 in Burlington.
