The Christian Hills Bridge a mile southwest of Eureka is set for replacement. Greenwood County Emergency Management Director Levi Vinson says the bridge is “structurally deficient” and is the only access to southwest Greenwood County that doesn’t involve a 25-mile detour in case of flooding.
KDOT announced 24 projects totaling around $21 million worth of investments as part of a news conference Thursday.
