Another financial institution locally is adjusting operations due to coronavirus.

Capitol Federal has closed its lobby until further notice, not only in Emporia but across its network. Customers can use the drive-thru during normal bank hours and can call 342-0125 to schedule an appointment. ATMs are also available.

Last month, Emporia State Federal Credit Union closed its main branch for over a week out of "an abundance of caution" as COVID-19 numbers surged. Drive-thru service is now available at that location. Community National Bank, meanwhile, has had its Industrial Road branch closed since Nov. 13. Customers can use the Merchant Street location for their banking needs. ESB Financial added curbside banking to its list of services last month.
