Several law enforcement jurisdictions were involved in an apparent high-speed chase Monday.

Wabaunsee County Sheriff Rob Hoskins says it received a call from the Osage County Sheriff's Office indicating residents from Osage County were following a vehicle that had allegedly been trespassing on their property. The suspect vehicle went into Lyon and Wabaunsee counties, allegedly at unspecified high speeds, according to Hoskins.

Deputies from Wabaunsee County were involved in the resulting chase, which ended in Eskridge. A Carbondale man, 44-year-old Virgil Wayne Barr, was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended and endangering a child. Formal charges are pending.
