Madison and area teams advance to Sub-State semifinals Featured

The Madison Boys advanced to the Sub-State semi-finals after defeating Colony Crest 67-37 Friday night.

After a close 1st quarter Madison outscored Crest 28-9 in the 2nd quarter to put the game out of reach.
Madison Coach Brett Dannels was glad they overcame the sluggish start.

Ryan Wolgram scored a game-high 31 points to lead Madison.
Madison plays Lebo in the semi-finals.

Area Sub-state scores:

Burlingame 55 Cair Paravel 54 - vs Olpe (at Madison)

Hartford 48 Chase 30 - vs Elyria Christian (at Peabody)

Southern Coffey County 46 Marais des Cygnes Valley 42 - vs Altoona Midway (at St. Paul)

Waverly will play Chetopa in the semi-finals at St. Paul.
