A fifth person has been arrested as the investigation continues into the murder of a Eureka man.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says a 15-year-old male from Scott City was arrested Monday afternoon on suspicion of felony murder, aggravated burglary, felony theft and conspiracy to commit felony theft. He was taken to an area juvenile facility. The teenager’s name is not being released.
Details about the death of Danny Shue, 78, have not been announced since his body was found at 1607 Quincy on Aug. 18. Since then, authorities have arrested 30-year-old Noah Farr of Dighton; 25-year-old joseph Warden of El Dorado; 34-year-old Leon Lindsay of El Dorado and a currently-unnamed 17-year-old male from El Dorado. All four suspects arrested earlier are facing charges of felony murder, aggravated burglary, felony theft and conspiracy to commit felony theft. No additional arrests are expected.
The Greenwood County Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case.
