The doors open Monday for the Jones Aquatic Center.
Hours are 1-6 pm weekdays. Admission is $3 for residents ages 4-15 and $5 for residents ages 16 and up. Residents can buy punch cards to get admission at a discount.
Supervisor Jennifer Wegener says there will be a lot to enjoy — as usual.
Typically, the season opens the Saturday before Memorial Day, but Wegener says the push to Monday will allow for lifeguard training Saturday and Sunday.
Besides the start of the season, Wegener is also looking forward to the facility’s official 20th anniversary July 30. Wegener says residents can swim gree of charge and enjoy “birthday party stuff” like cake, ice cream and balloons.
