Experience pays off when it matters the most.
For many participants in Wednesday’s 4H Rodeo on the Lyon County Fairgrounds, it was not their first time.
Mason Gibson, a senior at Osage City, said he’s been doing 4H for 10 years. This year will be his final year competing at the fair.
Mason Jenkins, an eighth grader at Emporia Middle School, said preparation for the yearly event happens when time is made.
Chloe Arndt, a fifth grader at Olpe Elementary, said she’s been busy with the fair coming to a close on Saturday.
