New dining options are coming to the Kansas Turnpike’s Emporia service exit.
The restaurant will now be a combination of Subway and Taco John’s, replacing McDonald’s. The change follows a recent request for proposals from so-called “quick-service vendors.”
The change means the restaurant will close beginning March 15. The drive-thru will reopen in early May, with walk-in restaurant access returning in early June.
