USD 243 Lebo-Waverly has a new superintendent beginning next week.
Duane Ford, principal at Lebo, will be the acting superintendent after Corey Reese was named the new superintendent at Stafford on Monday.
Reese says the opportunity to become the next superintendent at Stafford came quickly.
Ford moves into the superintendent role for the remainder of this school year and the 2023-24 school year.
With Ford being named acting superintendent, Ted Vannocker was named Lebo principal for the remainder of the school year.
Reese has been with Lebo-Waverly since July 2016. Prior to that, he was principal at USD 224 Clifton-Clyde for four years. Reese has been in education since 1993.
Reese begins his duties at Stafford on July 1.
