No injuries were reported after a vehicle fire in east Emporia on Tuesday night.
Emporia Fire responded to 702 East Sixth just after 10:30 pm. Firefighters say a crossover SUV was heavily damaged, with the engine compartment fully involved in flames when they arrived. The vehicle may well be considered as totaled.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
