No injuries were reported after a semi caught fire on the Kansas Turnpike in Osage County.
The incident developed shortly before 7 am Wednesday on the Kansas Turnpike almost 40 miles northeast of Emporia. The Kansas Highway Patrol says the semi’s second axle had a tire blowout, which caught the cab on fire.
The driver got out unscathed.
