If all goes well, Emporia's boil water advisory could be lifted Sunday.

With the city of Emporia in a boil water advisory until further notice, one local business has announced a schedule adjustment for the weekend.

The Emporia High girls soccer team opened their season with an 8-0 loss at Wichita North, Thursday.

Emporia State women's tennis fell to Missouri Western, 4-5,Thursday. The Hornets went 2-1 in doubles and 2-4 in singles.

Emporia High Track opened the season at a meet in Topeka, Thursday.  The boys finished 2nd, the girls 3rd, out of seven teams. 

The Emporia High girls' swim team opened their season with a home meet, Thursday, finishing 6th out of 10 teams.
