A south Greenwood County man has died after an accident Saturday evening near his home.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 60-year-old James Hein of Fall River was driving a pickup eastbound on Badger Creek Road roughly 4.5 miles northwest of the town when he lost control for unlisted reasons and hit a tree shortly before 7:30 pm.
Hein, the only person in the truck, was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
