The 19th ranked Emporia State football team goes after win number 2 of the season when they play at Central Missouri Thursday night.
Coach Garin Higgins says the goal is to keep moving forward.

The game will feature the top 2 passing quarterbacks from last season in the MIAA. Emporia States Brent Wilson was 2nd behind Central Missouris Hayden Hawk. Senior Defensive back Deveon Diwiddie says they will have their hands full.

The Hornets are coming off a 53-28 win over Missouri Southern while Central lost to Missouri Western 10-9. Kick-off in Warrensburg is set for 7pm, coverage begins at 6p on MIX 104.9 and kvoe.com.
