Narek Arutyunian is world-renowned for his prowess with the clarinet, and he made a visit to Heath Recital Hall Thursday.

The 22-year-old Arutyunian performed a smattering of pieces with piano accompaniment, as part of the Emporia Arts Center’s Performing Arts Series.
Arutyunian has been studying at Julliard the past four years. He’s performed in several notable places, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and the Louvre.
