The number 1 ranked Emporia State womens basketball team improved to 3-0 to start the season with a 86-50 win over Cameron Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets led 18-4 at the end of the 1st quarter and led 29-4 at one point in the 2nd quarter on the way to the 36 point win over Cameron.

The Lady Hornets held Cameron to 25 percent shooting on the night and out rebounded them 55-26. Kathryn Flott had a career high 15 rebounds.

Kelly Moten was the leading scorer with 18 points. Sandra Ngoie finished with 12 points, Kelsey Barnwell 11 and Jacee Kramer 10. Cameron scored the games first basket and that was the only time they led. The Emporia State women return to action Saturday when they host Oklahoma Science and Arts with tip-off at 4:30pm.
