The Emporia State football team held a scrimmage Friday night. It marked the halfway point of training camp with 10 more practices to go before they open the season August 31st against Northwest Missouri State.
Coach Garin Higgins said it was a good night.
For quarterback Braxton Marstall it was a good night.
The Hornets will take Saturday off and return to the practice field Sunday.
