All five Kansas starters scored in double figures as the 13th ranked Jayhawks outlasted the Iowa State Cyclones, 83-77 Tuesday night. Udoka Azubuike and Lagerald Vick accounted for 25 of their team’s 44 second-half points as KU shot a blistering 62 percent from the field over the final 20 minutes.
Udoka scored a team high 19 points, Malik Newman scored 17, Lagerald Vick 16, Devonte Graham added 13 and Svi Mykhailiuk finished with 10 points. They host West Virginia Saturday.
