The Emporia State womens basaketball team opens play in the MIAA tournament Monday night when they host Northeastern State. The Lady Hornets are the 6th seed. Northeastern State is the 11th seed.
Emporia State split the season series with Northeastern. Losing to the Riverhawks last Thursday. Coach Jory Collins says the Lady Hornets will need to be better.
Senior Jacee Kramer says they will need to give it their all.
Tip-off is set for 7pm at White Auditorium.
The winner of the game will play Fort Hays State, the number 3 seed, Thursday at Noon in Kansas City.
